No, students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at Nazareth Prep. However, families and students should understand that Nazareth Prep is a Catholic school, and religion classes, masses, and liturgical celebrations are part of the Nazareth Prep experience.

While tuition (cost per student) is roughly $22,500 per year, we are committed to making a high-quality, Catholic education available to all qualified students regardless of their ability to pay. This cost includes books, use of a personal computer, breakfast, and lunch.
Through the generosity of corporate internship partners, donors, and foundations, Nazareth Prep is able to provide some level of tuition assistance to every student. Each family completes the FACTS financial aid application, an independent organization that evaluates and assesses student need.

Nazareth Prep offers free transportation for all students, ensuring that they arrive at school safely and reliably each day.
We maintain a fleet of buses and vans and employ our own team of reliable drivers. Transportation is provided to and from school, internship sites, and athletic events for participating athletes. To contact the Transportation Department, please email transportation@nazarethprep.org.

Yes, Nazareth Prep students wear a uniform both in school and at their internships. To prepare students for the expectations of a professional work environment, they are expected to meet the school’s dress code at all times.

Yes, Nazareth Prep offers a variety of sports teams as a member of WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League). In some cases, Nazareth Prep has cooperative partnerships with other schools to allow Nazareth Prep athletes to compete in sports even when we do not have enough students for our own team.

No, Nazareth Prep’s curriculum is designed to work with the internship program. Internship days are the same every week, so classes are structured to support students’ schedules.

Every internship is different, but most companies have their intern rotate through different departments, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse roles within the organization. Students often work in areas such as human resources, marketing, IT, finance, and administrative services.

Nazareth Prep has a waiver from the Department of Labor allowing students age 14 and older to participate in the internship program. The student is NOT an employee of the internship partner. We handle all paperwork, provide all insurance and transportation, and administer a mandatory drug screen at the start of each school year.
